Melanie Margalis cruised to first in the women’s 200 IM on the third day of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series Santa Clara. She stopped the clock in 2:12.07, well over two seconds ahead of the rest of the field.
The former Georgia Bulldog talks about the benefits of meets like these, saying it’s great to race other people while not placing an emphasis on the time. She also discusses her plans for Nationals later this summer, revealing that she will be swimming the 400 IM.
