Big Ten Weekly Awards: Rachel Bockrath, Matt Klinge Lead Honorees

The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly swimming and diving honors. Here is a look at the winners:

Big Ten Swimmer of the Week  

Rachel Bockrath, Ohio State 

So. – Wilmington, Del.

  • At the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown, placed first and set a program record in the 200 free with an NCAA standard time of 1:42.92
  • Placed third in the 100 free with an NCAA standard time of 47.27
  • Was on the third place 400 medley relay team that finished in an NCAA provisional time of 3:31.34
  • On the third place 400 free relay team (3:15.50) and the third place 200 free relay team (1:28.92)
  • Last Ohio State Swimmer of the Week: Annie Krusinski (Feb. 19, 2025)

 

Big Ten Diver of the Week 

Ella Roselli, Indiana 

Jr. – Newport Beach, Calif.

  • Helped Indiana defeat Purdue, 186-114, finishing in the top two in both diving events
  • Posted NCAA Zone Qualifying Scores on both springboards
  • Won 1-meter springboard with a score of 311.78
  • Finished second on platform with a score of 302.55
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Ella Roselli (Dec. 10, 2025)

Big Ten Freshman of the Week 

Liberty Clark, Indiana

Chico, Calif.

  • Helped Indiana top Purdue, 186-114, winning all four events (three individual and one relay)
  • Won 100 butterfly by 2.52 seconds with a time of 51.26
  • Won 200 IM by 4.19 seconds with a time of 1:55.86
  • Won 100 backstroke in a time of 52.40
  • Helped Indiana win the 200-medley relay with 20.79 anchor, the quickest 50 free relay split in program history
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Liberty Clark (Jan. 14, 2026)

Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week  

Matt Klinge, Ohio State 

So. – West Lafayette, Ind.

  • At the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown, won the 50 fly with a time of 20.38 and won the 100 fly with an NCAA standard time of 45.12
  • Was on the fourth place 200 free relay team (1:17.80), the fourth place 400 free relay team (2:53.77) and the fourth place 200 medley relay team (1:24.95)
  • Last Ohio State Swimmer of the Week: Luke Paxton (Feb. 19, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Diver of the Week  

Tyler Wills, Purdue 

So. – Carmel, Ind.

  • Won on platform at Indiana with a team season-best list score as Purdue swept the diving events
  • Scored a 429.38 on platform, just 1.12 points shy of his lifetime best
  • Scored a 331.80 on 1-meter, teaming with Kaden Springfield for a 1-2 finish
  • Last Purdue Diver of the Week: Tyler Wills (Jan. 14, 2025)

Big Ten Men’s Freshman of the Week  

Noah Cakir, Indiana

Deer Park, N.Y.

  • Helped Indiana defeat Purdue, 209.5-90.5 with two individual victories and one runner-up finish
  • Posted personal best times in all three events, sweeping distance events
  • Won 1,000 freestyle by 8.62 seconds with a time of 8:54.58, becoming the No. 4 performer in program history
  • Won 500 freestyle by 1.08 seconds in 1-2-3 Indiana finish with a time of 4:19.73
  • Finished second in 200 butterfly with a time of 1:44.55
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Noah Cakir (Oct. 15, 2025)
