NBAC’s Michael Phelps is looking forward to the end of the college season so that he’ll have Arizona State head coach Bob Bowman back as his coach full-time.

Phelps had an up-and-down meet at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.

California’s Nathan Adrian vaulted to second in the world in the men’s 100-meter free at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.

Adrian won the 100 free by a full body length with a smoking fast time of 48.05.  That swim moved him to second in the world behind only Cameron McEvoy’s 47.56 from the Aquatic Super Series.

Adrian’s previous best had been a sixth-ranked 48.91 from the Austin stop.

Italy’s Luca Dotto took second tonight in 49.33, off his 10th-ranked 49.12.  NBAC’s Michael Phelps showed some speed with a 49.57 for third.

Trojan’s Conor Dwyer (49.65), Brazil’s Nicolas Oliveira (49.69), Trojan’s Nikita Lobintsev (49.69), Wolfpack’s David Williams (49.70) and Wolfpack’s Caleb Weir (49.71) finished fourth through eighth.

Brazil’s Marcelo Chierighini won the B final in 49.77.  Teammate Joao de Lucca claimed second in 49.82.
