Swimming World is following the 2026 Para Pan Pacific Championships live with coverage from Southern California as many of the world’s leading Para swimmers compete less than two years before the LA28 Paralympic Games.

The three-day international championship features 170 athletes from 10 nations and is hosted by U.S. Paralympics Swimming.

Para Pan Pacs Highlights

Katie Kubiak opened the championships with a world-record performance in the women’s S5 50-meter butterfly while also producing multiple American records.

Leanne Smith also delivered a world-record performance on the opening day of competition.

Day 2 produced six additional American records as the record-setting performances continued just outside Los Angeles.
