Canada’s Kylie Masse cruised to first place in the women’s 100 back at the 2017 Arena Pro Swim Series Santa Clara. The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist won in 1:00.34, over half a second ahead of the field.

Masse shares what she has been focusing on in training and is glad she got practice swimming backstroke outside. She told Swimming World that she gained a lot of confidence in herself from last summer and has learned to believe in her training.
