Chase Kalisz narrowly won the men’s 200 fly at the 2017 Arena Pro Swim Series Santa Clara. His time of 1:56.60 was just ahead of runner-up Pace Clark’s 1:56.75. The 2016 Rio Olympian also competed in the 200 breast and 200 free at this meet.

Kalisz, representing North Baltimore, talks about preparing himself mentally despite not feeling great in the water. He also discusses how he is ready for taper and knows what to expect heading into World Championship Trials later this month.
