Stanford’s Ally Howe won her first individual title in the 100 back at the NCAA Championships, getting her hand to the wall in 49.70. She was only .01 off her own NCAA and American record she set at Pac-12s last season.

The senior reveals that she was nervous before the race but is happy with it from start to finish, especially because of her frustration from last year. She says she plans on keeping the momentum rolling into tomorrow and that she is going to give it everything she has to leave it all in the pool.
