Men’s 200 Free
Blake Pieroni held nothing back in the men’s 200 free on the third night of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus. He took it out over one second faster than the rest of the field and held on for the win in 1:48.08.
That marks a new season-best for Pieroni and moves him up to the second-fastest American of the season behind Jack Conger. He adds this to his 100 free title from last night.
His teammate Zane Grothe grabbed second in 1:48.83 while Grant House took third in 1:49.13.
Felix Auboeck (1:49.28), Zach Apple (1:49.88), Patrick Callan (1:49.91), Sam Steele (1:50.13) and Paul Delakis (1:52.15) completed the A final.
