Chase Kalisz Dominates 400 IM in Orlando

NBAC’s Chase Kalisz dominated the men’s 400-meter IM at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.

Kalisz checked in with a time of 4:15.36, winning the finale by more than four seconds.  That swim was shy of his fifth-ranked season best of 4:14.64 from the Austin stop.

Gator’s Sebastien Rousseau claimed second overall in 4:20.06, while Saint Petersburg’s Robert Finke took third in 4:23.66.

Plymouth’s Andrew Abruzzo (4:26.42), Bolles’ Christian Carbone (4:27.47), Regina’s Brian Palaschuk (4:28.76), Wisconsin’s Michael Weiss (4:30.03) and Metro’s Carlos Omana (4:31.77) finished fourth through eighth.

Gator’s Dan Wallace claimed the B final in a time of 4:19.14, a huge drop from his 4:31.41 from prelims.  Swim Fort Lauderdale’s Nikita Tretyakov finished second in 4:30.65.
