2019 Phillips 66 US National Championships Psych Sheet Released: Dressel, Flickinger Top Field

The psych sheet has been released for the 2019 Phillips 66 National Championships at Stanford.
Some of the top names are scheduled to appear, even some who have been competing at the 2019 FINA World Championships, though many of the worlds swimmers will be skipping nationals.
The meet begins July 31.

Hali Flickinger, fresh off of her silver medal at worlds, has the top seed for the women’s 200 fly, ahead of Katie Drabot, the bronze medal winner at worlds, and teen upstart Regan Smith.
Smith has the top seed in the 200 back ahead of Flickinger, Asia Seidt and Beata Nelson. Smith also has the top seed in the 100 back ahead of 50 back world champion Olivia Smoliga, Amy Bilquist and Flickinger.
Speaking of teen upstarts, 17-year-old Luca Urlando has the top seed for the men’s 200 fly ahead of Justin Wright and Jack Conger.
The women’s 100 free is led by Mallory Comerford, but will feature Abbey Weitzeil, Kelsi Dahlia, Allison Schmitt, Smoliga and more, including British swimmer Anna Hopkin, who trains at Arkansas.
Schmitt will have the top seed in the 200 free, ahead of Gabby DeLoof, Comerford, Flickinger, Drabot and Smith.
Comerford has the top seed in the 50 free ahead of Smoliga.
Dahlia has the top seed in the 100 fly ahead of Amanda Kendall, Comerford and Smith.
Breeja Larson has the top seed in the 100 breast at age 27, while Devon Nowicki has the top seed in the men’s 100 breast ahead of Ian Finnerty.
The men’s 100 free is led by Caeleb Dressel, but will feature plenty of firepower with Tate Jackson, Maxime Rooney, Dean Farris, Ryan Held, Robert Howard and Justin Ress. Ress has the top seed in the 100 back.
Dressel has the top seed in the 100 fly ahead of Conger and Urlando. Abrahm DeVine has the top seed in the 200 IM ahead of Mark Szaranek and Ryan Lochte. Dressel also has the top seed in the 50 free.
In the 200 free, Australian Elijah Winnington has the top seed, but Jack Levant, Conger, Dressel, Rooney and Urlando are all close with seed times. Winnington has the top seed in the 400 free ahead of Zane Grothe and Grant Schoults. Grothe has the top seed in the 800 free.
Haley Anderson has the top seed in the 800 free ahead of Ally McHugh, Ashley Twichell and Cierra Runge. McHugh has the top seed in the 400 IM ahead of Brooke Forde, Ella Eastin, Cox and Flickinger. Eastin has the top seed int eh 200 IM ahead of Cox.
In the men’s 1500 free, Connor Daniels has the top seed. Austin Katz has the tops seed in the 200 back. Sean Grieshop has the top seed in the 400 IM ahead of the Foster brothers and Lochte.
Jenna Strauch from Australia is the top seed in the 200 breast, ahead of Zoe Bartel and Madisyn Cox. Daniel Roy has the men’s top seed ahead of Reece Whitley and Jonathan Tybur.
Kaersten Meitz has the top seed in the 400 free ahead of Anderson, Sierra Schmidt, Schmitt and McHugh. Emma Weyant has the top seed in the 1500 free.






The men’s 1500 top seed is actually Zane Grothe, not Connor Daniels (who is entered in an 800 time).
