Women’s 100 Back
Club Wolverine’s Ali DeLoof put up a quick time of 1:00.25 to lead the way over a tough field in the women’s 100 back. Following behind were World Junior Champion Regan Smith (1:00.57), Olympic and World Champs finalist Olivia Smoliga (1:00.81) and Canadian world record-holder Kylie Masse (1:00.91), setting up what should be a tight final with multiple sub-1:00 performances possible.
Carmel’s Claire Adams qualified fifth in 1:01.53, and Aquajets’ Isabelle Stadden was sixth in 1:01.71, just ahead of Cal’s Amy Bilquist (1:01.73). Also getting into the final were Swim Ontario’s Kennedy Goss (1:02.04) and Cal’s Keaton Blovad (1:02.08).
