Kelsi Worrell recalled her best swimming memories from her youth in USA Swimming’s video series introducing the 2016 Olympic Team.
The New Jersey native talked about how her dream had always been to have her name on a USA Cap.
The Olympic newbie only began realistically dreaming about her spot on the Olympic team after winning gold in the 100 butterfly at the PanAmerican Games last summer. She will arrive in Rio with the second fastest 100 meter butterfly in the world this year.
In short course, she was the first woman under 50 seconds in the 100 butterfly and had an illustrious career at the University of Louisville.
