Katie Meili will make her Olympic debut in the 100 breaststroke, entering with the fourth best time in the world this year. The 25 year old has always focused on doing “her best” and over time, especially with incredible improvement post-college, that has turned into “the best.”
Meili discussed her pre-race habit of pushing her goggles against her eyes, repeatedly. She also recalled her first ever race, a 50 freestyle that she did not even finish.
