Tennessee’s team of Meghan Small, Nikol Popov, Maddy Banic and Erika Brown won the 200 medley relay on Friday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships as the Vols won their fourth relay title in school history.
Banic swam the butterfly leg and talked about what the win meant to the team after not having the best start to the meet, but Banic insisted that the team did not have a problem with staying positive during the meet.
Popov swam the breaststroke leg and talked about fixing the mistakes and how Tennessee has been able to not let the negative swims affect them.
