Stanford’s Taylor Ruck and Brooke Forde swam on Stanford’s winning 800 free relay on Wednesday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Ruck had the fastest split for the Cardinal as she split a 1:39.80 on the third leg. Forde went last for Stanford as she split a 1:42.37 on the anchor leg.
Forde also joked about her extra 50 she did on the anchor leg as she credited her 3 hour exam earlier today for tiring her brain out.
Stanford won the race with a 6:47.22 as the winner of the 800 free relay the last four years has gone on to win the national title.
