PHOENIX, Arizona, February 3. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.
AGE GROUP
WEST VANCOUVER OTTERS
The West Vancouver (British Columbia) Otters held a time trial Jan. 14 to give their swimmers an opportunity to qualify for various championships coming up later in January and February.

SCS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Y-Spartaquatics and Middle Tyger YMCA co-sponsored the South Carolina Swimming State Championship Qualifier Jan. 27-29 in Duncan. Swimmers who met time standards can compete at the South Carolina State Championships Feb. 9-12 in Greenville.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY MORNING RACES
St. Petersburg Aquatics and West Florida Lightning Aquatics co-hosted the Saturday/Sunday Morning Races Jan. 28-29 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Short course yards events were swum on Saturday; the meet switched to long course meters on Sunday.

The Elgin YMCA Pelicans hosted the Jack Frost Invitational Jan. 29 at the Taylor YMCA.

The third in the Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance series was held Jan. 27 at the San Juan Natatorium.

COLLEGE
FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON VS. MOUNT SAINT MARY
Mount Saint Mary’s swimming team swam against Fairleigh Dickinson in a non-conference meet Jan. 24 in Madison, N.J. Mount Saint Mary was victorious in both the women’s (124-76) and the men’s (98-73) competitions.

HOUSTON-RICE-LSU-TULANE
Women’s teams from Rice, LSU and Tulane met at the University of Houston Jan. 27-28. The LSU Tigers defeated Houston 211-161, Rice 228-5-125.5 and Tulane 264.5-98.5 to emerge as the top team. The meet gave the teams a chance to tune up for their upcoming conference championships in mid-February.

RUTGERS-FORHAM-RIDER
Celebrating Senior Day, the host Scarlet Knights of Rutgers defeated Fordham 18-120 and Rider 221-74 and ended their regular season. Rutgers ended with a 9-2 overall mark, the most wins the program put together since 2000-01.

CONNECTICUT VS. KEENE STATE
Also honoring their seniors was Connecticut College, who defeated Keene State in both the men’s and women’s competitions Jan. 28 in New London. The No. 21 Camel women defeated the Lady Owls 175-113; the men’s race was much closer, with Connecticut squeezing out a 147-144 victory.
