Missy Franklin sat down with the media during training camp this weekend in San Antonio.
With her coach Todd Schmitz not officially on the coaching staff, she spoke about getting to work with different coaches. Franklin also revealed that she has been training a lot with the girls from Stanford and talked about how this is a unique experience to get to better know competitors. The 21 year old believes training is going well for the group.
She talked about the mix of veterans and rookies on the team. Just four years ago, Franklin was a rookie and she is still having a difficult time considering herself a veteran. Franklin emphasized the importance of “providing what you individually can give to the team.”
