Michael Phelps Stands Out In USA Nationals Day 2 Finals Heat Sheet
Michael Phelps returns to the pool tonight in San Antonio, Texas to defend his hold on the top spot in tonight’s 200-meter fly at USA Nationals. This morning, Phelps swam a 1:55.15 to move up seven spots to secure the top seed. His time would’ve been third at prelims at the FINA World Championships in Kazan. At finals at Worlds, Laszlo Cseh won the 200-meter fly with a 1:53.48. Cseh’s time could be a target for Phelps, who is working his way towards the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
