Melanie Margalis Coasts to 200 IM Win at TYR Pro Swim Series Santa Clara

There were several close races on Saturday at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series in Santa Clara. The women’s 200 IM was not one of them.

Melanie Margalis competed in her second event of the night, but still crushed the field by two seconds the 200 IM, winning in 2:12.07.

Sarah Darcel was second (2:14.62), followed by Monika Gonzalez-Hermosillo (2:15.77), Kim Williams (2:15.98) had a strong swim in her second event of the night, Emma Barksdale (2:16.79), Lisa Bratton (2:17.22), Beata Nelson (2:17.16), Kristen Romano (2:17.92) and Meaghan Raab (2:19.35).
