Madison Kennedy Rocks 50 Free Final At USA Nationals

Madison Kennedy zipped to a 24.71 second victory in the women’s 50-meter free final at USA Nationals. This morning, she led prelims with a 24.93 and was the only swimmer under 25 seconds. Amanda Weir cracked the 25-second mark tonight, finishing second in 24.85. Kelso Worrell continued her tear and vaulted to third place with a 25.01. Amanda Kendall and Faith Johnson tied for fourth with a 25.18.

Amy Bliquist earned sixth in 25.26, while Olivia Smoliga (25.29) and Allyx Purcell (25.35) to fill out the championship final.
