Katie Drabot Claims 400 Free Victory at Santa Clara Pro Series

Women’s 400 Free

Katie Drabot dove in ready for a win in finals of the 400 free, holding off the field as she edged closer and closer to the finish. Drabot collected gold with a final time of 4:08.07, tying Australia’s Kiah Melverton at 20th in the world rankings for 2017.

Wisconsin Badger Cierra Runge delivered a second place finish of 2:10.64, while Leah Stevens and Ella Eastin posted close times of 4:14.03 and 4:14.19 for third and fourth.

Miranda Heckman touched fifth overall with a time of 4:14.25, while Kristen Kobrich was sixth with a 4:14.52.

Megan Byrnes and Meryn McCann took seventh and eighth with times of 4:14.79 and 4:14.85 respectively.

Canada’s Mackenzie Padington suffered a disqualification.

well..she went 411 in her prelim…so then that would be he personal best according to you right…so it would be about 3 seconds.. then…just saying
