University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving tied SEC opponent Vanderbilt 131-131 in its final home meet of the 2022-23 season.

“It was a total team effort today,” Iowa coach Nathan Mundt said. “It was really special to have a couple people step up for events that they don’t normally do. Leslie Wendel and Olivia Asay were two that made a difference. We’re getting better week by week, heading towards championship season.”

The Hawkeyes opened Saturday’s competition with a win from the quartet of senior Kennedy Gilbertson, graduate student Sheridan Schreiber, freshman Scarlet Martin, and sophomore Molly Pedersen in the 200-medley relay (1:43.80).
