In the first day of the NJCAA National Swimming & Diving Championships, Indian River was off to a fast start during Wednesday’s prelims in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Indian River’s Courtney Perrett took the top seed in the 50 breaststroke in 28.96. Indian River teammates Olivia Berglund (30.49) and Elianna Kennon (31.44) took the second and fourth seeds, respectively.
