EVANSTON, Illinois, July 18. THE College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced its 2012 Spring Scholar All-America Teams, with more than 400 teams being recognized for spring semester academic success.
Clemson and Alabama led the Division I women with matching team GPAs of 3.62, while Yale topped the Division I men with a 3.62 of their own. The College of Saint Rose women also posted a 3.62 to lead the Division II women, while Lenoir Rhyne turned in a 3.57 team GPA to top the Division II men.
Hope College women (3.79) and Principia College men (3.76) both cracked the 3.7s to lead their respective Division III categories, while Asbury women (3.40) and Savannah College of Art and Design (3.30) paced the NAIA ranks. Daytona State College women (3.07) were the only NJCAA team to be honored.
