NEW COMMIT: Cypress, Texas native and Futures qualifier Aldercy Bui has announced her commitment to Drexel University beginning in the fall of 2021.

She will join Elizabeth McDevitt and Mariangela Cincotti of Weston, Fla. as a member of the Dragons’ Class of 2025.

She told Swimming World:

“I am so thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Drexel University! I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates, friends, and everyone that has supported me to become the best version of myself. So excited to further advance my career as a Dragon for the next four years!!! ? ???”

A talented sprinter, Bui does her club swimming with Katy Aquatics and earned two best times at the 18&U Winter Championships in December. In February 2020, she had a great showing at the TWST Gulf Shore Championships where she picked up six lifetime bests and placed fourth in the 100 back.
