Adam Peaty and Partner Receive Average Scores For Jive on Strictly Come Dancing (Video)
Each week that Adam Peaty extends his stay on the reality television show Strictly Come Dancing, the competition becomes more challenging. Peaty performed the jive with partner Katya Jones on Saturday night’s episode of the British series, and with a score of 27 from the four judges, the Olympic breaststroke champion might be in danger of being eliminated when the results show takes place on Sunday.
Dancing the jive to “Little Bitty Pretty One” by Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Peaty and Jones exhibited their typical high energy, but the judges cited a few mistakes when revealing their scores. On social media, Peaty and Jones were widely celebrated by their supporters and simultaneously criticized for a performance that lacked cohesiveness. Peaty and Jones have been in jeopardy before, only to survive and continue on in the competition.
After repeating as the Olympic champion in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Peaty announced he was taking a break from the pool and had accepted an invitation to appear on “Strictly,” the BBC’s wildly popular reality dance show. Peaty has repeatedly praised his time on the show and the challenge of participating in an activity which was previously foreign. Peaty’s involvement with the dance program has precluded him from racing for the London Roar during the third season of the International Swimming League.

Adam is fabulous. He is an Olympic swimmer, the breaststroke requires your legs to be like a frog, he isn’t a RV celeb, actor or been to stage school. He us learning to dance, exactly what Strictly is about and he is doing magnificently!! I want him in the final, I want all the sponsors to back him. This man deserves to raise his profile and make money for his little family. He has sacrificed so much and has done our
