Women’s 400 IM:

Lakeside’s Brooke Forde easily took the top seed this morning in the women’s 400 IM with a time of 4:09.13. Taking the second spot was Marlins of Raleigh’s Madison Homovich in 4:12.78. Samantha Burchill of Carmel Swim Club took third place in 4:13.54.

With a time of 4:14.17, Nashville’s Ella Nelson placed fourth. Kathleen Moore of Marlins of Raleigh and Kelly Pash from Carmel tied for fifth place in 4:14.36.

Tampa Bay’s Christin Rockway took seventh in 4:15.19, and SwimMAC’s Julia Menkhaus rounded out the top eight in 4:15.22.

Men’s 400 IM:

Dropping over five seconds from his entry time, Penn Charter’s Reece Whitley finished first this morning with a time of 3:48.93. Whitley was two seconds ahead of Ridgefield’s Kieran Smith, who took second in 3:50.72.

Third place went to John Fulginiti of Blue Dolfins in 3:51.21, just ahead of Team Greenville’s Talmadge Davis who touched in 3:51.22 for fourth. Christopher Smith of Red Bank YMCA was fifth in 3:51.66.

Mason Manta Rays’ Carson Foster finished sixth in 3:51.94. Miguel Cancel of Gulliver was seventh in 3:52.20. Dynamo’s Jeffery Durmer took the eighth spot in tonight’s final with a time of 3:52.24.

Women’s 100 Fly:

Olivia Carter led this mornings heats of the women’s 100 butterfly with a time of 52.74, two seconds faster than her seed time. Isabel Ivey of Gator Swim Club finished second in 53.52. 14 year old Tristen Ulett of Dynamo was third in 53.75.

Alessandra Baldari and Gator’s Talia Bates both swam a time of 54.00, tying for fourth place. Pine Crest’s Jessica Nava was sixth in 54.11.

Gertrude Rothrock of Carmel and Megan Glass of Blue Ash YMCA tied for seventh in 54.25.

Men’s 100 Fly:

Ohio State’s Noah Lense took this morning’s top spot with a time of 47.38. Behind him for second place was Cardinal’s Nicolas Albiero in 47.67. Bolles’ Ariel Spektor finished third in 47.75.

Camden Murphy of Kingfish was fourth in 47.97, with Bolles’ Willie Davis just behind him in 48.00 for fourth. Sixth place went to Spencer Carl of Michigan Lakeshore in 48.14.

Corey Gambardella of Soundview YMCA placed seventh in 48.16. Dayton Raiders’ Cody Bybee finished eighth in 48.31.

Women’s 200 Free:

After taking second in the 100 fly, Gator’s Isabel Ivey rebounded to take first in the morning heats of the 200 free with a time of 1:45.73. Second behind her is tonight’s top seed in the 400 IM, Brooke Forde of Lakeside, who touched in 1:46.13.

Third place went to Greater Tampa’s Morgan Tankersley with a time of 1:46.51. Emma Nordin of Carmel finished fourth in 1:46.64. Her teammate, Kelly Pash, took fifth in 1:47.29.

Hannah Foster of Mason Manta Rays was sixth in 1:47.68. Excel’s Riley Gaines touched seventh in 1:48.16, just ahead of Swim Atlanta’s Emma Alexander, who finished eighth in 1:48.18.

Men’s 200 Free:

SwimMac’s John Walker took the top spot of the morning in 1:35.94. Behind him was Countryside YMCA’s Grant House, who touched 1:36.27 for second place. Spencer Carl of Michigan Lakeshore was third in 1:36.50.

Cody Bybee of Dayton Raiders finished fourth in 1:36.74. Upper Dublin’s Jake Sannem was fifth in 1:37.06, while Upper Arlington’s Parker Neri touched sixth in 1:37.19.

Cincinnati Marlins’ Justin Grender took seventh in 1:37.38, just ahead of Carmel’s Drew Kibler for eighth in 1:37.41.

Women’s 100 Breast:

15 year old Alexandra Walsh of Nashville finished first, breaking the minute barrier for the first time in 59.77. Her teammate Allison Raab took second in 1:00.87.

Hanna Gresser of Firestone Akron touched third in 1:01.09. SwimMAC’s Caroline Hauder was fourth in 1:01.30, just out-touching Abigail Arens from Marlins of Raleigh in 1:01.31 for fifth.

Sixth place went to Sophie Angus of Weston in 1:01.37. Cardinal Community’s Emily Weiss was seventh in 1:01.38, and Jacqueline Clabeaux of York was eighth in 1:01.39.

Men’s 100 Breast:

In his second event of the morning, Penn Charter’s Reece Whitley took the top seed yet again in a time of 53.48. Finishing second to him was Bolles’ James Daugherty in 54.45.

Keefer Barnum of Lakeside and Jason Mathews of Ohio State Swim Club tied for third in 54.82. SwimMAC’s William Chan touched fifth in 55.00.

Sixth place went to Delaware’s Matthew Otto in 55.09. Jacob Foster of Mason Manta Rays finished seventh in 55.19, and Excel’s Eric Tong rounded out the top eight in 55.42.

Women’s 100 Back:

Julia Menkhaus of SwimMAC posted the fastest time of the morning in the women’s 100 backstroke, turning in the only sub-53 second swim. Menkhaus stopped the clock at a 52.89 to return as the top seed in tonight’s final.

Nashville Aquatic Club’s Alex Walsh picked up the second place seed with a 53.17, while SwimAtlanta’s Madeline Cohen grabbed the third place seed with a 53.60.

Marcella Maguire turned in a 53.91 for the fourth place seed, just ahead of Olivia Carter, swimming unattached, and her time of 53.94.

SwimMAC’s Stephanie Nelson (54.24), Greensboro’s Heather Sigmon (54.48), and SwimMAC’s Sinclair Larson (54.57) qualified sixth through eighth.

Men’s 100 Back:

Zachary Poti, swimming unattached, turned in the top time of the morning in the men’s 100 backstroke with a time of 47.67.

Cardinals’ Nicolas Albiero finished second overall in prelims with a 48.22, while Clark Beach was third with a 48.34.

Drew Kibler claimed the fourth place seed with a 48.64, followed by a 48.67 showing from Destin Lasco.

Alexander McMurry (48.81), Alessandro Boratto (48.89), and Justin Grender (49.02) return as the sixth through eighth place seeds.
