Wolfpack Continue 2022 Recruiting Haul With Verbal Commitment from Casaundra Moses

NEW COMMIT: NC State has wasted no time putting together an impressive Class of 2026 recruiting cohort, and the Wolfpack recently secured a verbal pledge from Casaundra Moses of Springfield, Mo.

Her fellow club teammate, Aubree Brouwer, has also verbally committed to NC State. They will both join Meghan Donald, Grace Monahan, Kennedy Noble, Emma Hastings and Katherine Helms in Raleigh at the start of the 2022-23 season.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am so blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at North Carolina State University. Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and family I wouldn’t be where I am without you all. I can’t wait to be a part of the Wolfpack! #gopack”

A U.S. Open qualifier, Moses does her club swimming with Springfield Aquatics and raced the 50 free at the Toyota U.S. Open last December before going on to record a best time at the TYR Pro Swim Series – Knoxville. She also recorded five top-10 finishes at Columbia Sectionals in March 2019.

Her best times include:

50 back – 25.63
100 back – 54.71
50 free – 23.47
100 free – 50.67

In Summer 2019, Moses was a five-time finalist at Jenks Sectionals where she placed sixth in the 100m back, seventh in the 50m back, and 10th in the 100m free. She then went on to compete in three events at Junior Nationals.

She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts in the pool and in the classroom.

Even with just under two years to go before suiting up for the Wolfpack in the fall of 2022, Moses will add valuable depth and will join a training group led by Katharine Berkoff and Annabel Crush. At the 2020 ACC Championships, the Wolfpack finished second overall in the team standings behind Virginia.
