Florida Gator and longtime USA National Team veteran Ryan Lochte talks about “being done with the sport” until his new son, Caiden Lochte, was born and rejuvenated his love for the sport. Lochte discusses his training since the Rio Olympic Games, his reasoning behind returning to Gainesville, Florida to train with Gregg Troy and how he is now more motivated than he has ever been.

Lochte also discusses different event possibilities as we approach the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with his signature 400 IM and 200 back not off the table.

The Gator great touched sixth in tonight’s A final of the men’s 200 back with a solid in-season time of 2:00.82. Cal’s Ryan Murphy ended up winning the event in a quick 1:56.06.
