(Video Interview) More Left in the Tank for Lilly King
Left Sidebar
Lilly King dominated the women’s 50 breast at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships en route to breaking the American Record. The 2016 Olympic gold medalist stopped the clock in 29.66 as the only swimmer to crack the 30-second barrier. Her time is the third fastest all-time as she inches closer to the World Record and is the fastest time in the world this year.
King notes that she wishes she had been faster but knows there is more left in the tank for Budapest. She also talks about her comfort swimming in Indianapolis and how she uses the crowd as motivation.
