Cal’s Katie McLaughlin pulled a tough double on day three of the Women’s NCAA Championships, placing sixth in the 100 fly (51.20) and eighth in the 200 free (1:44.32).

The junior says that although the double was tough, she was glad she could be in the A final for both events to score as many points as she could for her team. She also talks about feeding off the energy from her team and using that as motivation to not psych herself out.
