Chapin is a four time Speedo Sectionals Finalist and over the past five years has been a consistent Niagara LSC Top eight finisher.

Chapin shared,

“I felt at home as soon as I walked on campus, the team and the coaches were so welcoming. I know Canisius will be a place we’re I can grow as a student and a swimmer. Go Griffs!”

Her best time are:

  • 50 Back 27.91
  • 100 Back 58.81

At the 2016 MAAC Championships, Chapin would have been a 100 backstroke A finalist, earning seventh place points with her lifetime best time. In the 200 backstroke she would have been a B finalist. Backstrokers Cassie Brousseau and Marissa DiRienzo will be juniors when Chapin joins the team in the fall.
