COLLEGE STATION, Texas, February 29. LAST night, a pair of distance freestyle titles were claimed at the USA Swimming Sectional held in College Station, Texas.
Allison Arnold, 15, of the Dallas Mustangs won the women's 1500 freestyle with a time of 17:21.97. Meanwhile, Loveland's Summer Cook, 16, placed second in 17:25.28, while La Mirada Armada's Jessica Marsh, 15, rounded out the top three in 17:35.15.
Another Dallas Mustang, Caleb Veazey, 17, snagged the men's 800 free title with a time of 8:25.47. First Colony's Eegan Groome, 15, finished second in 8:27.75, while William Norton of Metroplex took third in 8:29.69.
