USA Men’s Water Polo Ties With Greece, 7-7
ATHENS, Greece, February 24. THE USA Men's Senior National Team bounced back from a defeat at the hands of Serbia to tie Greece 7-7 in their second game of the Samartzidis Cup. Team USA had balanced scoring against the host Greeks as seven different players tallied scores. Merrill Moses did the job in net tallying nine saves while the team improved greatly on their man up play connecting on five out of seven chances.
"We are seeing improvement with every practice and every game," Head Coach Terry Schroeder said. "Things are progressing as we have hoped. We close out the tournament against a very good Montenegro team."
USA takes on Montenegro to close out the Samartzidis Cup with a match at 10 a.m.
