U.S. Olympic Trials Updated Psych Sheet Released: Kaitlyn Dobler Now Entered in Breaststroke Events

An initial psych sheet for the U.S. Olympic Trials was released Friday, but swimmers still had one last weekend to try to achieve Trials cuts before the late entry deadline. Now that this final deadline has passed, USA Swimming has sent out a new version of the psych sheet that also includes some surprise omissions from the original version.

Click here to view the updated psych sheet.

The most notable addition to the lists is Kaitlyn Dobler, a breaststroker from the University of Southern California who has a real chance of knocking off one of the past two Olympic champions, Lilly King and Lydia Jacoby, to qualify for the Olympic team in the 100 breaststroke. Dobler is the third seed in the event at 1:05.48, and she is also seeded sixth in the 200 breast. Her omission was the big surprise from the first entry list, but now that appears to have been an error, and she is good to go to race next week in Indianapolis.

Also listed now is Daniel Roy, a former Stanford swimmer and world junior champion in the 200 breast who was a finalist in the event at the last Olympic Trials. Roy is seeded sixth in the 200 breast and 13th in the 100 breast.

The top seeds in each event remain unchanged from the original version of the psych sheet. The top-seeded swimmers in each event are posted below, with events listed by the date of the final:
