IRVINE, California, August 3. THE first national relay title of the U.S. Long Course Nationals went to Schroeder YMCA. The foursome of Kevin Baseheart, Adam Mania, Mitchell Friedemann and Steven Cebertowicz won the men's 400 free relay in 3:22.86.
Meanwhile, Ohio State's Lincoln Fahrbach, Joel Elber, Zachary Holmes and Tim Phillips took second in 3:23.29, while SwimMAC's Jay Cormier, Josh Schneider, Nick Brunelli and Cullen Jones placed third in 3:23.46.
Tucson Ford (3:23.68), Wildcat Illinois (3:24.20), SwimMAC B (3:26.38), Minnesota (3:26.70) and Wildcat Kentucky (3:26.82) placed fourth through eighth in the event.
