TORONTO, Canada, April 12. ACCORDING to a report by blogTO, more than 600 Toronto-area students staged a walk out from classes to protest the potential closing of more than 20 pools in the city.
According to the blog post, "23 of the city's pools are identified for decommissioning in June, with a further 16 going dry by June 2009 due to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) lacking the funding to keep them operational."
