Host Brent Rutemiller analyzes the new world record set by the Netherlands in the 400 free relay at the European Championships, setting up a four-country battle at the Olympic Games.
Talking more about what is to come in Beijing, Rutemiller and Swimming World senior writer John Lohn preview the women's 50 freestyle, which will likely include world champion Libby Lenton, American comeback girl Dara Torres and two of the Dutch women on the record-setting relay.
In "For the Record," Bob Duenkel speaks with legendary coach Bob Steele at the International Swimming Hall of Fame, where some of Steele's swimming paintings hang. Steele painted the images after watching swimmers at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Steele also talks about his work in USA Swimming as a mentor coach.
