PHOENIX, Arizona, July 16. AMANDA Beard recently competed in only her second meet since the 2008 Olympics, and on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show, she talks about gradually getting into racing shape in preparation for next month's USA Swimming national championships.
Garrett McCaffrey interviewed Beard at the Arizona senior long course championships about her motivation to get back in the pool shortly after the birth of her son, Blaise, and what's different about her training now that she's a mother who doesn't want to be away from her son too long.
