PHOENIX, Arizona, January 21. IN the debut episode of the Ready Room, a special interview segment broadcast each Monday as part of The Morning Swim Show, host Brent Rutemiller sits down for an insightful conversation with Olympic gold medalist Misty Hyman.
Hyman, an Arizona native born in Mesa, Ariz., shocked the world at the 2000 Sydney Games when she upset heavily-favored Australian Susie O'Neill en route to the 200 fly gold medal.
Hyman swam for Arizona Desert Fox under head coach Bob Gillet, and also competed for Shadow Mountain High and Standford University during her time in the pool.
She currently is in the hotel industry, as discussed in the interview.
