AUSTIN, Texas, June 5. THE Texas Senior Circuit series continued in Austin, Texas with the women's 1500 free and men's 800 free events taking place.
Casey Hurrell-Zitelman of Aggie Swimming held off Natalie Sacco of Longhorn in a battle of former Big 12 competitors with Hurrell-Zitelman surfacing with the win, 17:28.99 to 17:32.67, in the women's 1500 freestyle. Ashley Adams, 16, of Fleet rounded out the top three with a time of 17:53.49.
The men's 800 free was pretty much a no contest as Tyler Sell, 16, of the Comets demolished the field with a winning time of 8:17.90. Sean Murphy, 15, of The Woodlands placed second in 8:43.86, while Nolan Slesnick of Gold finished third in 8:44.75.
