SwimAtlanta’s Sarah Livingston Will Stay In State, Lends 2021 Verbal to Georgia Tech

NEW COMMIT: Lilburn, Ga. native Sarah Livingston has opted to stay in-state for her college career after verbally committing to Georgia Tech as a member of the Yellow Jackets’ class of 2025.

She will join current club teammate Lily Burke in Atlanta in the fall of 2021.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am beyond thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at Georgia Tech! I am so appreciative for all of the support from my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have helped me along the way. Fall 2021 cannot come soon enough! #GoJackets”

A talented freestyler and backstroker, Livingston does her club swimming with SwimAtlanta and recently placed 14th in the 100 back and 16th in the 100 fly at the Southern Premier Invitational. Last summer, she she achieved four best times at Georgia LCM Seniors where her highest finish was a ninth-place showing in the 50m fly.

Her best times include:

  • 100 free – 52.57
  • 200 free – 1:53.61
  • 100 back – 56.57
  • 200 back – 2:02.98
  • 100 fly – 55.75

A rising senior at Parkview High School, Livingston is a six-time Georgia 6/7A State Championship finalist. She earned bronze in the 100 back and took fourth in the 100 fly as a junior while racing to sixth in both the 100 free and 100 back during her sophomore season.
