BOSTON, Massachusetts, September 16. IN his first year as the head coach at Boston University, Bill Smyth has hired Jennifer Strasburger as an assistant coach with the Terriers. Strasburger, formerly a graduate assistant at Cal-Berkeley, will handle coaching and recruiting responsibilities. Strasburger earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina, where she was a standout in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
“Jen is a tremendous addition to our program,” Smyth said. “She understands how successful programs operate, from hard work and dedication in the pool to a commitment to excellence in the classroom. She had a great career as a swimmer and I see her as an exceptional coach.”
