The 2018 Indiana Girls High School State Championships concluded today with the Carmel girls claiming their 32nd straight state title. Carmel dominated the competition, ending with an accumulated 363 points. Northridge finished second overall with 215 points, while Hamilton Southeastern edged out Franklin Community 165 to 163.

In addition to Carmel’s exciting win, Yorktown’s Emily Weiss set a new state and national high school record in the 100 breast (58.40), while Carmel’s Kelly Pash went four-for-four in gold medals for the day.

Swimming World’s chief photographer, Peter H. Bick, was on deck throughout the entire meet to catch all of the action and excitement.
