MADRID, Spain, January 27. ACCORDING to an article at Notinat.com.es, the Spanish Swimming Federation is following suit with the Japanese Swimming Federation when it comes to allowing swimmers to choose what suit they would prefer to swim in.
Spain has elected to cancel the exclusivity of its contract with Speedo so that Spanish swimmers have the freedom of choice heading into international events when they are representing the national federation.
Prior to opening up this avenue for its swimmers, Erika Villaecija and Eduard Lorente each were fined for wearing other swimwear brands.
