Sienna Zauder Will Remain In-State With 2027 Verbal to Nevada
NEW COMMIT: Las Vegas native Sienna Zauder has opted to remain in-state for her college career after she verbally committed to the University of Nevada, Reno. Zauder is a talented sprinter who is a Sectionals qualifier.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Nevada, Reno to continue my academic and swimming career!! Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I am grateful for this opportunity and excited for the next chapter as a member of the Wolf Pack family. Go Pack!!”
Zauder, who does her club swimming at Sandpipers of Nevada, finaled in three events at Walnut Speedo Sectionals in December before going on to placed second in the 50 free with four other top-6 finishes at Western Zone Short Course Seniors in March. Last summer, she took fourth in the 50m free at Western Zone Long Course Seniors.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 23.44
- 100 free – 51.36
- 200 free – 1:54.15
- 100 fly – 57.58
- 200 fly – 2:07.59
A rising senior at Arbor View High School, Zauder earned gold in the 100 free and silver in the 50 free at the 2025 Nevada 3A State Championships. She placed third and second, respectively, in those events during her freshman season.
The Wolf Pack finished fifth at the 2026 Mountain West Conference Championships.
