SANTA ANA, Calif., May 19. CHRIS Segesman, a member of the United States Olympic Water Polo Team in Athens, has been named the Aquatics Coordinator at Mater Dei High School, which possesses one of the top scholastic sports programs in the nation.

Segesman has enjoyed significant success during his water-polo career. He was a member of the gold-medal winning team at the 2003 Pan-Am Games. In his new position, Segesman will oversee the swimming programs and water polo teams. Mater Dei is awaiting construction of a new, on-campus aquatics complex.

"Mater Dei is a great family with unbelievable traditions," said Segesman, who played collegiate water polo at Cal State-Long Beach. "I'm looking forward to establishing an identify for the aquatics program."
