Regis Jesuit and Cherry Creek Take Colorado Crowns

FORT COLLINS, Colo. February, 22. THE 4A and 5A girls from Colorado completed their season over the weekend with one new individual state record and one relay record.

On the 5A side Lisa Caprioglio, a senior from Highlands Ranch, won the 50 free and the 100 fly. In her 100 fly she not only broke the 5A meet record but the state record as well with a blazing 55.16.

Other double winners include Caitlin Iversen in the 200 IM, 2:03.33, and the 100 back, 56.01, and Natasha Menezes in the 200 free, 1:51.01, and the 100 free, 52.12.

For the 4A girls there was a new meet record set in the 400 free relay by the girls from Regis Jesuit. Alyssa Swanson, Stephanie McNichol, Kelsey Olson, and Kristen Schmid teamed up for a 3:35.57 and a new 4A meet record.
