Raatz Dominates Record Board at Arizona 4A States

GOODYEAR, Ariz. November 1. OVER the weekend at Arizona's 4A Division I and Division II High School Championships Katherine Raatz (AFOX) of Thunderbird broke two records and turned in one of the fastest times in the 100 yard fly this season.

Last year Raatz broke the 4A state record in the 100 fly making it a 55.78, but this year she obliterated that time clocking in at a blazing 54.28. She also broke club teammate Skye Elbert's record in the 50 free lowering it from a 23.30 to a 23.13.

The only other record broken was in the 200 IM by Pinnacle's Danielle Milligan (SAC) breaking Emily Mason's 2:03.80 with a 2:03.50.
