PHOENIX, September 2. IT recently has come to our attention that all of the high school swimming results archived by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) were lost when Hurricane Agnes struck the state in 1972.
If anyone is in possession of PIAA high school regionals or state meet results for years prior to 1973, please email scanned copies of the original documents to Phil Whitten at:
Please note that Phil Whitten is not acting as an official representative of the PIAA in this endeavor, but will see to it that any results recovered by this effort will be forwarded to the PIAA, which has said they will gladly accept them.
